Have one of these on the way for 17.5 Blinky TC.
Can anyone recommend a spur (manufacturer and number of teeth) and pinion (number of teeth) to help get me started?
Will be running on a medium sized outdoor asphalt track.

I'm using the tamiya TRF gear diff O-rings and my geardiff isn't leaking.
Very pleased about the car too.

If you want to stick with 48p for outdoors, a 34t pinion will give you a 4.0 fdr which is a decent starting point.
Edit: I've also used Kimbrough spurs with ok results. They are a bit thicker than the 3racing ones so might have to pay with shims and spacers a bit. I also used tamiya ones and found them to fit much like the kimbrough, although the tamiya plastic seems a bit harder.

Best spur I've used in my S1 is an Associated. It's a little thicker than the kit spur and takes up the play in the lay shaft.

Been testing my S2 on carpet with a 17.5T and the car was very fast.
I was only able to pull out an extra 0.2s on my fastest laptime cause the car was already very stable and carried a lot of corner speed at the start of testing.
I started with a FDR of 5.75 with a motor timing of 15° on my speedpassion V3 MMM and i ended my testing with the motortiming set at 10° and an FDR of 5.45.
Still searching for another 0.2seconds to hit my target, but i'm sure it's doable.
Need to upload the propper software to my reventon pro esc, still using a modified software and i need the stock1 software.
So far the car is a blast to drive.

Hello,
I got the s2 for my daughter racing car and it's running very well exept for the rear diff. The o-ring are way too big and give to much pressure inside the gears. Can somebody give me a link or references with suitables o-ring to solve the problem ?
Thanks.
