Does the DynaPulse have the battery reverse protection like Spintec does ?

Does the DynaPulse show IR, Capacity avarage voltage, only at the end of the discharge ?

Does DynaPulse have the Maintenance mode at the end of the discharge phase ?

Does DynaPulse have a protection over overdischarge the battery if left connected to the pack after the discharge is finished ?

Does DynaPulse report unbeliveble Capacity number if you are using with battery that is not a GP3300 or GP3700 ?

How long take to Dischrge a full charged pack ?

Can you hear the noise from the battery while the battery is discharged by the DynaPulse ?

Thanks

e_lm_70

PS: It is really true that 4 cells are discharged at 30amp spikes like it happen with 6cells packs ? This would lead to have a non fix internal resistance like Spintec doesnt (spintec use a fix internal resitance for discharge the pack) !

Can you test your unit with a fully charge NiCd pack ... and give us the Capacity that is reported by your DynaPulse ???

My Spintac was reporting 4800mAh capactity out of a cheap no-name 2400NiCd pack ... somebody in the other thread also try to justify me that these number were correct !!!!

e_lm_70

P.S: BTW what a copy this Dyna .... I was guessing that asian's people were the experts on make copy .... and since the asians are not so reach I never had problem on buy clone from HK/China/etc ... but a clone made in US : sucks !

Dude, it's really not a cheap ripoff. I tested out several this week and they were MINT. Very well made and they work super well.

Besides, I got the JC signature edition.

that's not the point,

Trinity basically ripped off the design from Spintec,

Innovation is what drives the industry forward, Trinity is ripping off others ideas to line their pockets,

I now understand why so many despise Trinity

Whatever...

(An aside: talk about ripping off--check out your avatar. )

I'm not here to judge motive nor pontificate on Trinity's misdealings. I'm simply endorsing a product of theirs that works well and deserves to be tried.

How many other products are simply a slightly improved version of something else? Plenty. I know a few people who work on the inside for automotive companies and when a good product comes along, the companies purchase them, strip them down and reverse engineer to see how they can incorporate the technology into their product. Then, it goes to the marketplace.

Anyway, 'nuff said. Trinity's reps should be defending (or not) their own practices, not me.

you know, it means alot when williams backs trinity on the product like this...makes me think the product is something i really should look into. I know that jon has had problems in the past with trinity, and if he says that this new product is worth trying out, i believe it to be a good product.

also, where you guys are coming from, would be like saying lrp ripped off comp electronics, for designing a charger that a)charges batteries up to high amperage; b)discharges those batteries at the amps you choose; and c)runs a motor at your set volts to break it in...nobody complains about that, cuz its a good product, and its the way company's have to work...

I think this is an answer to what spintec has done, and its good to see the competition in companies like this, because it keeps the hobby going.

yea, companies that don't want to spent the time or money on R&D to invent their own products,

have a look at the Spintec and the Dyna Pulse, they are almost exactly the same,

this whole affair reminds me of those chinese made Rip off Levis jeans and Rolex watches, just change the product enough so you dont get your ass sued.

Trying to decide between this and the SpinTech, Tower has it for $65 I am thinking of grabbing it but was wondering the differences between it and the SpinTech.

At the LHS I work part time at, we tried the two side by side, on many different types of packs. Bottom line, they work exactly the same.

Spintec may have been first to market, but the design is simple enough to copy VERY effectively. I would expect to see other manufacturers with a copy soon.

I prefer the Trinity because of the superior display, 4-cell capability, and a MUCH lower price.

I am by no means a Trinity fan, but I will give props where they are due...
