Very nice, looks almost just like my car now

We ran the motor wires and sensor wire under the rear spring plate. A little cleaner and no chance of rubbing the body and perfectly free.

Also i'm running a four cap setup laying down in the rear of the pod plate, makes it look like an exhaust system, people always commenting on how sick it looks

Love the stickers, that exactly the body i'm working on!

heck ya! I suck at wire and solder

I build the bodies and do stickers and glue the tires and setup and drive

Yours is great for doing it yourself

I often wonder why we rc people worry so much about what is buried under the body

We hope this change will make it easier for the end user to get the products you want.

VBC Racers! If you already have VBC cars please let me know where you race them and what local shops are around you. Please give as much detail as you can. With your help we will be able to create a great network to support you!

That's great Dave !
I loved my 12th scale Lightning last year, but looks like I'm running F1 this year instead, so I guess an easy choice for me

Definitely liking this car, was 1-2 faster per lap than the two tamiya f1's at timezone raceway
It feels much better under braking and more stable all around.

Really torn between the two VBC models for F1 and I was wondering if someone that has driven both of them on rubber tires on high traction carpet...can give some good pros and cons to make the decision easier

thanks

Both are great cars. The flash o4 has a highly adjustable front end which is good in some cases but it can also get you in trouble if you don't keep up on it. The lightning F is the newest version and the simplest. It's the best of both worlds with very little adjustments and generally faster. My vote is for the lightning F

Knowing that the kingpins are vulnerable, I am buying a spare set. Should I be considering the titanium coated version?

I got the tamiya king pins previously mentioned. They are working great. I know someone from vbc mentioned an upgraded king pin though...

Finished building mine and then whacked on the ride f104 wheels and realised the inner diameter is too tight for the front, anyone running the ride wheels?
