i have ran the motor boosted .. you'll get the same result just multiply it by atleast 3 seriously the motor runs nice a cool even in boosted setting you might even run a slight lower timing because you esc is doing all the work

I managed to get second this weekend in expert 17.5 this weekend. Motor ran strong. I was geared at 3.59 and motor timed at 30* first and second run. It was nice and temps came off at 135 to 140*. So in main I just bumped timing up to 35* and it was faster yet. Came off at 160 ish. Still lots of testing to do with gear combo's but results are great so far. Track size was huge. 100+ straight!

One of my customers also had an awesome performance this past weekend racing his R1 Wurks motor. He was pulling everybody on the straight and his motor was barely breaking a sweat. He could have easily geared more aggressively as well.

Well I just found out that the first place guy last weekend was running another brands 13.5 testing for reedy. Lol I was right on pace with him for several minutes and he only got about a half lap on me the whole race with my 17.5. That driver has been a pro since I was a wee little boy in 1986. I wish I had known that.

Ran the R1 17.5 today and was very happy with it. When adjusting the timing I over tighten the screw and it stripped out the threads, does anyone one know where I could find a replacement ring that the screws attached to?

(the ring is on the right hand side of the picture)

These seem to be out of stock everywhere I've looked (per links earlier)

Anyone know of a 13.5 floating around new or when the next production run is due??

The 13.5s are out of stock and Reedy is partly to blame. Almost every 13.5 we sold was to someone competing in the RROC.

In regard to Indyonroad, your best bet regarding the damaged parts would be to e-mail R1Wurks directly via the contact form on their site.

I do not know an ETA at the moment, but R1 Wurks might.

The Reedy Race is May 22- May 25.

Unfortunately, this is a good way to get people's inboxes flooded with spam and is one of the reasons contact forms and recaptchas exist.
