Does your stator have a chrome serial number?

Currently the V7 21.5 ultra p is plenty fast, no V9 21.5 as of yet.

R1wurks - Could you please confirm this. Thank you.

I'll have to disagree to your disagreement. There are only 3-4 motor "brands" on the market that aren't competitive in stock blinky. When setup correctly all the brands aside from those 3-4 are very similar in overall performance. NOTHING beats consistently driving a smooth clean line. Having said that the d4 is awesome, my V7 is a weapon and I'm still discovering a broader sweet spot nearly every meet. I love the "boosted" top end ..My can timing is usually set at 32-36 deg. And geared around 4.5-4.8 . I'm running Zombie 100c 7400, TP Radon Esc( totally new esc out in April) and Tp X booster. I've pretty much got it spot on now. A v9 just arrived too. Timing set at about 30 in the can. I'll test the actual timing later and re post.
The new solder tabs, vented end bell with exposed bearing are nice additions.

With the v7.... As they're from the same OEM production line. The Team Powers Actinium vented endbell is a perfect fit to the V7. The Actinium is also an absolute beast.

I purchased a d41s for use in f1. I loaned my r1 ultrapremium motor to another driver who I have been consistently beating. He upped my fast lap by.2s with the motor and pulled on my everywhere. Not to mention the r1 motor came off at 130deg where the d4 was always 150-160

How big a track? On anything but an extra large outdoor nitro track That is waaaaay over geared IMO. I run on a fairly large indoor asphalt track with a 120ish foot straight and I'm at 4.8 and 33 ish on the can. Keep dropping teeth as you'll find these motors love to rev and give you the best of both worlds. Insane rip out of the corners and high top speed,

I generally say to people see what FDR others are running at your track and then drop 3 teeth with 48 pitch and 5 teeth with 64 pitch to start with. Crank the motor timing up to at least 25 to begin with as every motors different. Run it and if the car is not topping out on the straight keep drooping teeth. Your battery quality will also determine how much timing you can add before your fading in the run. New packs and I can run an extra 5 degrees on the can. As I've dropped the teeth I've been able to add more timing. I don't think I'm maxed out at 35 degrees but it's not fading and it's wicked fast. I've had to change the cars set up as it's very aggressive out of corners now. You'll get to a point where you are getting too much wheel spin out of the corners with crazy fast top speed still. I've adjusted the hobbywings throttle to counter this.

As an example, this run below I can bang out a 13.2 in the last couple of laps with a 13.07 hot lap and a crappy 13.7 start. I never could crack a 12.99 on that layout. Love these motors

1 0:00:13.74 0:00:13.74
7 0:01:37.38 0:00:13.07
26 0:05:58.29 0:00:13.26
27 0:06:11.51 0:00:13.22

Default Blink esc

Does the ESC affect the output power of these motors? E.g. will a 120a ESC be faster than a 60a ESC with the same motor?

I find my 17.5 Ultra premium to have great power. On Fred tech with my 417v5 I was able to keep up with Rod which I've never done before and took the fastest single lap of the day and the win. For TCS regional I was able acheive fastest single lap every run as well even though the car is grossly over weight at around 1530g.(i'll work on that... to much useless aluminums) Only wish I could have drove better. So far very pleased with this motor and I'll try it with my 1500+ rotor next time to see if it will perform better. I got a example where the rotor is fairly strong but not the strongest I've seen with R1

My R1 21.5 got me the TCS Nationals TQ and win in F1 in August then backed it up with TQ and win at Fredtech 2 weeks ago but last Sunday at TCS Regionals, through driver error only finished 3rd after being out qualified for TQ by only 2 hundredths of a second but turned fastest laps of the day by a whopping 2 tenths.
Yeh, this motor/battery combo still has rip after all this time between then and now and also was used for the whole Tuning Haus series at TQ this winter.

Thanks Steve!
