Great job Craig "Cuda" Hammond (F1), Julian Wong (GT2) and Nathan Weir (GT1). Enjoy your trip to Shizouka, Japan to compete in the Tamiya World Championships in November! Steve "V", you rock!!
GT3 is also won with a R1 actually. Very strong infield tune, not the fastest on the straight but definitely the most balanced.

Hey Toby, didn't mean to leave you out of the mix The three classes mentioned earlier were the classes with trips to Japan for the Tamiya World Championship's. Didn't mean to slight your victory in any way. Great job on your overall victory!

My R1 Wurks 21.5 motor and 4600 shorty pack sure made it easy to stay at the front of the field in F1 this weekend.
I ran 25 degrees timing on the endbell with a conservative gearing choice.
Never even considered 0 degrees timing on the endbell.
Who'd a thunk?

Redbull, gonna be seeing you soon for carpet wisdom to take with me overseas.
Can't wait to play in the land of the rising sun with my new travel companions/race team mates.
Let's get it on! C'mon!

Thanks again Steve!

Enjoy Japan and all of its beautiful sights. Are you allowed to use your own motor?

Waiting anxiously for all of the rules and specs for the class, tires, battery, motor, body etc.
Pretty sure it is all specific for this race.

If motors are 21.5 open, then find yourself a 14.00 mm rotor. Torque is king.

Pigio,

I have used all the motors you mention in 13.5.
I like the R1 best! I can get the D3.5 almost as fast, but it fades by the end of a 5 min run. My R1 does not. I run my D3.5 with an fdr of 4.0 at my track, but my R1 I run fdr at 4.8, very different from my other motors! It just works for me there! It gets a lot more rpm than any other motor I've had.
Try it!

I did a quick poll and we are up to a possible 7 different (of 10) motors in our last USGT race. Guess us Texans do our own thing. Still trying to find an R1 21.5 timing/FDR combination for my USGT car that is faster than my Kill Shot and will run for 12 minutes. Any suggestions? I've found some that are as fast initially but start to fade after 4 or 5 minutes.

we run 8 mins. I run 4.0fdr 30 timing in my usgt with R1. same lap times at end. The only faster motor is one guy with the new team powers but that is only .1 on a hot lap
our class is the same all different motors, don't think i've seen a killshot though
