Did you race in Fresno yesterday? Even the tires off of VTA and mini looked like somebody rolled a dog turd in sand coming off the track.

Hey guys, I have a f1 and have recently started racing at X-ray raceway in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. Not sure on track length but here is a short video made from the last race night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wefc-MnGpm0

It is carpet and we run foams, and i was wondering what gearing you would suggest for a R1 Wurks motor. I'm currently running a Thunder Power Z3R 21.5 with 30 degree timing on bell end, and running 72spur and 26 Pinion and running no fans currently. The front runners are running in the low 9s, and i'm currently at 9.3 area. I want to go to a Wurks R1 motor when they are available again, so has anyone got a gearing they would suggest?

cheers

TP-ZR3- 21.5: I think your gearing 72spur/26pinion is about 2.77

R1-21.5:You might have to gear somewhere near 72/19 to take your fdr close to 3.8 at 30-40deg timing.Considering your running foam, you might have to play around with your gearing quite a bit to find your sweet spot.

Are you saying F1 21.5 should be geared at 3.8?

I have been running my R1 21.5 at 2.81 and it's the fastest motor I have seen in F1

Guess I should change my gearing.

Good luck to all those driving the R1 Wurks motor this weekend at the Reedy race. I know we have at least 5 official R1 Drivers and many other motors at the event for 13.5 We will try to keep you all updated as the rounds continue on. Good luck, and give em hell!

The latest from the Reedy Race We did have 5 official R1 drivers in this event, and 3 made it to the A-main! 2 are in the top 5! Regardless of the final outcome, I believe we can all say that Steve V. and the R1 Wurks team have done a fantastic job and officially put this R1 Wurks Motor on the Map! Congrats!

We are expecting the motors to be restocked soon. Just hand on a little longer and I'm sure that your preferred dealer will have them in stock.
