Default Unglue Tires?

Just a quick question, I need to unglue my tires off the rims, what is the best way to go about doing this? Boiling them? I need to "save" the tires, don't care so much about the rims. Thanks

I baked some last week and it worked great. I pre-heated the oven to 325 then baked them for 12 minutes then turned off the heat and lefted them in for another 5 minutes, they came off very easy.

What did you put the tires on? Cookie sheet, foil, etc? I would think the rubber might start to melt a bit?

Don't even try that .... Nice way to set your house on fire.

I've never tried it myself but I hear placing the tires in a covered jar with a little acetone does the trick.

Around 300 degrees in the oven for 10-15 minutes does the trick. If the tires doesn't come loose easily just bake them a little more, You can use the inserts again if you like too, even the tires if you want to.

Never tried it but you can buy CA de-bonder from your LHS, that would be a nice safe way to do it. I have used de-bonder on airplane stuff for over ten years.
