Each Tyre on the car must only be constructed from 1 compound (shore rating/density) of foam rubber "
for 12th scale.........that's a shame that the rule thru amendment intended to not allow 2-stage tires thru verbage in amended rules also indirectly outlaws non 2-stage tires which were allowed before such as:

TRC Cyan Fronts
CRC dual compound Fronts
Parma Violet Fronts
BSR various fronts...plaid, BK/PU, etc
TRC Granite rears
etc. etc.

wonder if they are going to use use the same legal terms for 1/10 and disallow
the near same compounds: Plaid, Cyan, Dbl PK/OR?

i don't race over there but i would say a re-un-animous postal clarification vote is worth considering.....

i got mine from www.kthobbies.com

i didn't think they were 16.99 for rears and 15.99 for fronts. i thought that was great! they were only $2-3 more than regular Jacos @13.99

KT just dropped the regular 1/12 Jacos to 12.99 for fronts or rears about 2-3 weeks ago. so i guess that would make them $3-4 more...still not bad

as for all the 2-stage discussion comments:

before online competition got fierce, about one year ago i was usually paying on average $16-19 for fronts and $18-21 for rears between internet or LHS purchases.

i'm sure teams/manf. will do up their own for team drivers only and claim if they win that their regular tires won. But that has already happened wasn't till somebody posted a pic of a cut inhalf tire last year that the Q-session started. then it was discovered that someone else was making them with a different name WRAPS......hmmm

who else was making these all along.....perhaps SATAN!

Well, hopefully with all the new tires and batteries from all the companies out there, this will help drive down some of the cost.
This will be better for us all!!

Jack stated earlier that he has dropped the pricing on Jaco tires.....and he has also stated that the tires are lasting longer and don't need to be cut down as far to begin with...

I'd say that's saving the racer money

Why? 'Cause the wheels are white? They could be Parmas or Speedminds or BSR's or any of the other three hundred companies that sell foams on white wheels.

I don't know what they are, and unless you were there you don't either.

The trc stickers sure did look out of place on the JACO tires. By the way I was there.

Walter
Isn't that why TRC made those stickers in the first place?? So they could run other companies tires without Trinity knowing???

I never said they were TRC's or anything else for that matter as I didn't know, Jack would know as would a few others, but if you weren't in Dumas's pit and you don't know Dumas, you can't know what he's running. All you could really tell is he has white wheels on his car.

Danny: I thought you had an exclusive on the IB3800? What exactly do you have an exclusive on? The shrink wrap?
