Quantum sport- unlike the others you can actually run it 3 wire like all the "pro speedos" IMHO It's the best low end racing speedo out there...

Quantum Competition 1. It cost about 50USD or roughly 100 pounds. That's a mid-range used price. Only thing different is the programming and profiles on the QC2

Don't skimp on ESC. Go with a good one right off....

But, The IPC Pro Sport is a good ESC for a good price ($85) Probably the best ESC under $100 (besides a used GT7) IMO The Quantums feel real flat (no punch) in touring car.

I think should go look in the net for a top of the line used esc. Try to look for those in real good condition.Or anyone has a NIB one for sale.

I've run the GM and I think it is an excellent value speedo with excellent performance. It is even slightly programmable but the programming is so difficult to do that I doubt many people bother.

If you can hold off a bit longer Novak is about to offer the GTS a more sport oriented version of the GTX. Based on the info on The Novak site it should be about the best budget comp ESC out there.

dont forget the VFS-2 is a lower "economy" version of the VFS-1 and VFS-1 Comp. has lower spec FETs... but same programmability.
