looking for my next Touring car?
Ok everyone my driving has become better to where now Im searching for that car i can push. I will say i do like a car with alot of steering like my wgt car. So here are my choices the tamiya 418, detc 410, Arc R10 2013, or the Spec R R1 pro.

well I personally raced against a 418 wasnt too impressed. I think the durango is pretty good bang for your buck. Thats my .02 I run a tc6.2 and I am just as fast if not faster than the t4 14.

There are certain kits you can't go wrong with if you play your cards right and the biggest deciding factor here should be as followed.
1. Parts Support (your going to break)
2. Support from fellow racers (nothing like having someone track side that knows the car to help sort out issues, if needed that is)
3. Parts Support
4. Parts Support
5. Parts Support
You can be that guy that has the only chassis manufacture at the track but being 100% prepared for what's to come is all on you. Nothing like breaking, not having that part and packing up early
But I'm sure you can't go wrong with the Spec R as you can spend $500.00 on a decent chassis and have plentiful parts in your pit when needed. I haven't personally worked with the Spec R but I know people that have claimed it's a decent kit and can't go wrong.
The ARC R10 is a great platform. For the money, quality is up there with the best of them. Parts are 3 days away at a good price from Viper RC, so getting into this car is a good choice as well.

The DO6 is a great car, comes with Ti turnbuckles as standard, high quality build and is decent value.
There are a lot of good cars on the market, biggest factor for me was local parts support.
The TD looks good if you have local parts support go for it.

In that case since you are not keen on AE go for the TD or D06, I would go for TD given not many parts for the D06.

I am partial to tamiya, so I would say go with a 418. Tamiya quality is amazing, and there is something "unique and interesting" that only comes from owning a tamiya.
I had the ta05 v2 with essentially every option and a ta05 vdf. Both were amazing cars for the money. I'm sure one of their trf. Cars like the 418 could only be great.

I went a 418.
Local Parts support didn't really factor in for me. It's pretty crap for every brand to be honest.
Spares of the bits that break are cheap, so I ordered 2 extras of each of the corners (arm, hub, turnbuckle) at the same time. If I break one I'll just order from japan or Hong Kong and have it in a week. Online support for tamiya is amazing. As is the fit and finish typically, I expect this to be no different.
