Default Worried

As someone who has already paid for the actual Worlds race, I am worried that these tires will again be an issue. Can anyone from hot race tires let us know what changes are being made for the tire to be consistent and hold up better to the speeds of the track? George, what are your thoughts on the tire? I would hate for the race to get a bad review because this tire was chosen based on its ability to make the most money for everyone involved in the race.

This seems odd...unless it is an Ifmar rule or something. Can you comment on the reason for a different tire?

In theory if the manufacturer does their job properly it shouldn't matter what tyre is used as it's the same for everybody, but by doing their job properly the manufacturer should ensure all the tyres are the same quality and are capable of running at the speeds the touring cars are now managing. Hopefully the manufacturer now knows the problems with the tyres and should have improved versions for the Worlds.
+1 on your theory

Chris there are certain procedures of testing that I have learned from a masami demo that I will be testing when the improved version gets tested
Then point simple is it will be a pass or fail
When it comes to the theory of making more money each of the tire company submitted all having the same price

Right, I just did not know if there was an IFMAR rule about what the track can run this close to the event. I know one of the reasons I am coming to Paved Nats is to get to run on the track before Worlds. It would be nice if we could run whatever tires will be run at Worlds, but I understand if the track and ROAR decide otherwise.

I too am a little concerned about the tires, i don't want to travel half way around the world to have tire issues spoil my worlds event, but with that being said it is a huge platform to showcase a new product and im sure they will get it right for the main event later this year, otherwise it will be very very bad for the company and product

That or their choices were slim to none considering the worlds staff set the price that the manufacturer would be paid.
remember these r toy cars we play with only beacuse someone builds them to make money.
