Tuning Brushless Motors - Hints and tips

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody in the know can share some hints or tips about what to do to a Brushless motor to get the best performance out of it.

Thanks in advance

Yea that is an idea but they are not on the Brca list for 13.5t so looking for information on what to do or looking for the black art of tuning the old brushed motors.

You said brushless motors in your thread topic? Brushless and brushed are way different

as 13.5 is stock spec theres not alot you can do other than maybe remove a shim to reduce friction on the bearings, wash the grease from the bearings and use some light oil, some motors can have the rotors changed for a high rev or high torque, and set timing to 10/25 degrees on the motor and let the esc boost do the rest
an lrp x20 sits in my car, fast motors and easier to tune/gear than some other motors,if you like a revvy motor that you can hear then the lrp is the one

As long as the orca and trinity motors are on the list then you should be good to go.
