I could be wrong but I'm sure there are two cars that everyone is looking past. For one, the DO6 Wildfire is "probably" the fastest car in the corners and offers incredible amounts of steering. This car has been in the making and clearly has shown it's potential, just comes down to the pilot and mechanic.
Also don't count the AE 6.2 car out as I'm certain Team Associated is going to do what is necessary to make a strong appearance at the worlds for there new chassis. They do have 7 months to make things happen. The pre-worlds is in a few months so we all will have a better grasp at that point...

I don't know who is representing them at worlds, however.

I think Yokomo and Tamiya will probably lock out the podium, because their cars are solid, and between Ronald, Naoto, Marc, Jilles, and probably Hara (I'm guessing he'll end up driving one of those two) they'll have it covered.
While I think the Xray, Awesomatix, TC6.2, Wildfire, ARC, and HB (with special one-off parts, heh) are all good enough cars, I just don't see anyone running them that will pull off a podium over those 5 above. Maybe Hagberg or Jeffries, but I still wouldn't bet on 3 of the above screwing up badly enough to let him through.
I'd have to say the Wildcard would be Elliot Harper in the Durango. We know the driver can do it. But can he do it with that car, without other strong teammates?

Not certain the t4 14 has what it takes to push the envelope, we are talking about the worlds here. I'm not hating on the t4 14 as I drive one and do well with the chassis. I know the chassis is good enough for a national title but not sure about the worlds. From what I found, the xray is a phenomenal chassis that works and works well. Does it have that extra as the 2014 worlds is going to be some stiff competition and the normal "World Class Champion" drivers are not driving the xray?

The only name I'm familiar with that is on the VBC team is Surikarn.
