the website says... "249 firmware platform specific to the RS GEN2, RS SPEC and RX8 GEN2."

i think randy meant there is a new hotwire update (for the rs gen2, rs spec, and rx8 gen2)

AND

an android app update to support gen1 esc's is coming very soon. sounds like he already tested it.

Hey Randy

I think a cool feature for the app in the future would be the ability to download firmware updates via 4g or similar Mobile network and install them via the app.

What's so sad? The fact that Tekin has volunteered to allow we RS users ongoing support for old products. Or the fact that iOS and current versions of android don't allow usb access? Or perhaps it's how unappreciative of Tekins efforts your post sounds.

If you read all the posts you will see iOS and updated Android issues are out of Tekin's control.

My only concern is after using the demo mode on my phone the adjustment options for dynamic timing appear to be lacking.

ALL of the settings you can adjust using the Hotwire through a pc can also be adjusted using the Hotwire App.

Yes demo mode does leave out some adjustments simply because it has no idea what esc it's emulating basically.

Gen1 app testing is going well and we hope to update the app soon to provide Gen1 support.

Sometimes I plug in my hotwire and look at the demo mode... daydreaming of tuning my gen1 lol. You guys are awesome tekin. Keep up the good work.
