R/C Race with the Champ Cars!
The RCCAR club of San Jose, California will conduct an "R/C Grand Prix" race along with the Champ Cars!
Date: July 29th, 30th and 31st.
We will have our own track setup within yards of the Champ cars running at about 180 MPH.
Thanks to our sponsor (The San Jose Mercury News) not only will we have a full weekend of great Electric and Nitro Sedan races, there will be trophies, prizes, free t-shirts and celebrities. Best of all, you will receive (2) 3-day general Admission tickets into the Champ Car race (Value $124)

This is a great idea.
Wow, I think this is just the thing that R/C needs. My hats off to all that made this posible. To bad that I am half a nation away or I would attend. I just hope that there will be a hobby shop at this event selling RTRs to "hook" these auto racing fans into a different kind or racing.

I wish I was my youngest that day, those girls were all over him....
I think it's great that you guys are having an RC race along with the Champ cars... What you really need is to have races along with the Speed World Challenge since that is really the only series we're sort of copying these days....
