The side of the car with the more weight, has greater weight distributed to the 2 tires on that side of the car, hence more grip. so if the battery is on the right side, and the electronics on the left are lighter, without any weight on the left the car may pull tighter turning to the left, or not go straight on acceleration.
tweak is more of a twist issue, where there is less weight on the front left tire for instance.
best bet is to play with balancing your car left/right using either those Hudy balancing points, or making some out of some nails and a block of wood. add weight to the light side, and reduce it from the heavy side (if possible)
once your left to right balance is perfect, tweak will only ever be an issue after a big collision when the chassis has twisted slightly, or youve bent a hingepin.
