Here is Riley painted with Tamiya Cherry Red, looks more pink to me though lol. Can't wait to try it out at the track.

Default riley prototype

Hey Gary ran the Riley prototype Thursday at hobbytown ran real good could really get into the corner aggressive and it just got better all night. Allot of interest in a prototype only class in gilbert so hopefully that will come about would be real neat to get a few on track at same time.See you next time you come down T.j.

I've been going to have some grill/headlight decals printed up for this body - but I haven't picked one up yet to get the proper size measurements...

I'm sure the art will need to be tweaked a little for sizing...

Anybody run one of these yet? I know durability will be good, just wondering about the overall feel / handling of this shell. Looks like it should steer pretty fast.

Edit: Just watched the vid SWtour put up, car looks good.

Hey...Thanks for all the interest in the Daytona Prototypes. There is a big event coming up later in the year with "United Sports Car RC Racing" in Illinois. One of the featured classes is our Daytona Prototypes....

The Riley, and all of our Daytona Prototypes handle real well and real neutral on 4WD Touring cars. We have three to pick from...
#255- MXP DP
#289- Corvette DP
#297- Riley DP

Hello everyone! The race Mr. McAllister mentioned has a thread on RC Tech.

Wisconsin & Illinois Racing > United Sportscar R/C Racing Championship 11-9-14 "The Track" @ Harbor Hobbies

Sorry still can't post links.

I just want to take a second to publicly thank Mr. McAllister for supporting our event! His companies involvement means a great deal to us!

Also check out or video and like our Facebook page that Mr. McAllister posted above for all the latest news and info!

Hi Joey....
Thanks for being respectful....not a lot of that out there these days, but please call me Gary....it doesn't make me sound so old...LOL

OK now....no old jokes!!!

I do appreciate your support as well. And I think the racer's will enjoy the feel and look of the Daytona Prototype bodies and bring some of the Touring Car crowd up to date with the latest versions of the best Road Racing Series in the U.S. Glad to be of some help to your event.

If you can't find a shop w/the body in stock - just give Gary a Call or Email at McAllister Racing - he usually has everything in stock and ships really quick.

Ran the body over the weekend and it handled great, it locked the front end down and it had a good balance feel overall. The durability is top notch, took a couple of good hits and it held up great. Already picked a another one for a spare.
