Unhappy Need help on XS3 Pro Radio

I picked up a used JR XS3 Pro and the steering doesnt work on either of my Pro 4 cars. My old KO radio works fine with both cars so I was wondering if Im doing something wrong or if the radio itself is DOA. Thanks for the help.

this may be a Duuhh, but did you check the D/R?

I did the same thing when I used to own a Pro and felt pretty dumb when I figured it out. Also, pick up some good rechargeables for the transmitter cause that thing eats batteries like my son does to candy.

Yeah thats the first thing I thought of but the steering doesnt turn at all. I hope its not a DOA radio. When I go into the EPA for the steering, when I turn the wheel, it doesnt even change the display to left or right EPA.

Yes they are. Throttle works and trim adjustments work on both cars (one has a Novak receiver and the other has the 310 receiver)

If it doesn't even change from the L to the R settings on the EPA, then your steering wheel for some reason is not recognizing the movements you are making with it. It sounds like DOA man. Call Horizon and ask them an estimate of what they'd charge to fix it.

Remember on the plug that goes into the RX, the black wire is on the outside. I've made that mistake before.

I checked the wire. My KO radio works fine with both receivers so I think the transmitter is DOA. Im trying to contact the seller and Horizon Hobby regarding the issue.
