Has anyone ventured out of the Protoform Kingdom of 190 mm touring car bodies? I've looked and seen RSD's bodies, as well as the Nardo, and MC10. I'm currently looking at Parmas bodies. What im looking for is a body that is very similar to the LTC-r R.W. in turning and aggressiveness, but has other characteristics that make the car handle differently. I've read the Nardo, is similar to the LTC-R, however just a slight bit less aggressiveness, and more stable. Any other input on bodies would be appreciated.

I really like the Sweep body but want to try the RSD as well.

I ran the Sweep body at RROC and can testify that it is quite similar to the LTC-R. Maybe a bit more steering than the protoform.

Is it as unstable? Or is it better or what else?

I found it to be quite stable but everything is going to be dictated by your setup. The body is just one factor. It comes with a stiff wing too. The price is pretty decent so the only way to really gauge how a given body will work for you is to buy one and try it. You may need to change some suspension settings to accommodate the aero differences.

Right, I was curious as to the what body characteristics each had, so I could get a body that has similar feel to the LTC-R but is better, by either being more stable, or some other fact, that I cant think of at the moment. I guess I will have to try a few different bodies this year, and see what I like. Thank you

Hey all, this will be my 1st on road car ever!

I ordered it from my local shop and picking it up Thursday. I know on road is very very tedious and precise. I was wondering if anyone can give me some setup options from the start other then the out of the book setup. Ill have a protoform ltc-r body and run an orion vst 10.5 with lrp flow. Can anyone give me some setup options like gearing, diff setup, shock weights, tires, etc? I dont wanna jump straight to a pro style setup without seeing how making changes to an on road car is different then an off road buggy. My local track is outdoor, painted asphalt, and hot between 80*f to 100*f

Iv also seen a couple of youtube videos of steering slop with the rack setup. Is anyone else having a problem with excess slop?

I would look at Team Associated's site for some setup options and check with local racers regarding the best tire selection.

Default sponsorship?

Just curious, what does it take to get an entry level sponsorship with Team Associated? I've had a nice streak of TQ + wins TC6.2 at parking lot mod touring club races. A friend of mine has a sponsorship with Schumacher and it didn’t take much to get it.

Thanks.
