If your DCJs are falling apart it's probably because of the retainer ring orientation. The ring orientation should be dependent on the rotation of the DCJ. If you're still having problems try putting shrink wrap around the center barrel (over the rings).

If you're still interested in the tamiya DCJs here is a link:

I got 2 sets for the first batch back when I had my 6.2 one broke on the bench cracked at the mold line of coupler. The other did the same thing after one run... yes I demelled my axles down so they didn't catch and break. This is 17.5 blinky with the spool with steel outdrives...

Thank you by the way.

Any word on a new Associated Touring Car? There are rumors of a TC6.3 or a TC7 by Christmas. I'm guessing on a TC6.2 Worlds that has all the mods the Associated drivers are currently using (DCV's, TC4/TC5 arms, etc.).

Is the new one wider, or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

That one is same width as stock, have revised it to slightly narrower now plus a couple other tiny little tweaks

I saw pics of Ryan's car on the interweb but it looked like a 6.2 with the suspension mods on it.

Thats nothing new...
I bet they come up with new suspension molds and some improved details.
This changed 6.2 runs very well. So changes should just include parts that get rid of all the shims and mixed car parts needed for the 6.2 conversion.

The 6.2 is a great car. I highly recommend it, but the 7 is supposed to be out in a month or so and has the lastest mods on it. i'd wait for that.
