for what its worth I'm running

RSD bladders
Shocks: (F) RSD Blue 40wt, (R) RSD Light Blue 37.5wt
LTR Body
Gen2 esc
17.5 Reedy Sonic 2
RSD Carbon battery holders, battery is shifted towards front of car.
Sorex 28r tires
10% Drag break
5mm ride height.
Droop: 35mm F droop (mm between setup board and top of axel)
34mm R droop
96 spur with a 47 pinion, i think giving 4.07 fdr (guestimating)
-2 front/rear deg camber with +1 degree front toe

pretty much 0 tweak! took me a while who to figure that out.

I think you mean 25mm & 24mm on the droop, otherwise your tires would be off the ground. I measure mine the same way.

I'm spot on to Keven Hebert's Horsham setup, with a slightly stiffer front swaybar (Red instead of Yellow) in med traction conditions, with both Gravity and Sorex 28 tires. Works great.
Over the last year with the car, I've tried pretty much every mainstream carpet setup and variations/tuning on each to get the right balance, but I keep coming back to Keven's.

no; they are on 10mm blocks; sorry should have been specific. I've probably seen Keven's setup; maybe I should revisit.

Does anyone know if the Associated DCV units (#31632)
will work on my 6.1 Worlds car?

Thanks,

Scott

31632....Checked Amain and it says 6.2 and 6.1 compatible.

I see 64 pitch and 48 pitch TC Spurs and pinions. In off-road it is all 48 pitch, on-road primarily 64 pitch for more options?

Thinking of going gear for front. Some setups I've read say to use 3 million oil. Wouldn't this make it similar a spool in the sense of the gears being locked? Or am I trying to compare apples and oranges? Thanks.

For me the 3 mil front diff feels like it lets go in hard cornering. For many the car feels a bit more comfortable.

The easy way for me to describe the feeling is with the spool the car gets in hard, You have a predictable edge you can hold or soften by your wheel and or throttle.

With the 3 mil it feels like the car gets just a touch of slip when hard on that edge. For some this will be better as they are not driving that edge of the car and the slip will be more consistent and make the corner easier.

Usually it's 2.5M and sometimes 1M. It's alright outside in mod with sweeping turns. I wouldn't run it on carpet unless the track is big and has , again, sweeping turns. For a stock car I can't think of a circumstance where it would be an advantage over a spool.

2.5M is much different than a spool. Knocks the edge off aggressiveness. Weakens the drive our of corners, but improves high speed steering, I.e. a long sweeper.

Thank you ammdrew and samnelso for the reply. As well as an explanation to each difference. It still amazes me at the type of people that provide detailed insight to frequently asked questions and refrain from saying research it. Some threads are thousands of post deep and can be a daunting task to find the right answer that makes sense. Again thank you to all who go out of there way to post detailed answers.

Yea 64 pitch for finer gearing adjustments. Possibly quieter and more efficient as well. Kev even uses 84 pitch sometimes. Maybe that's just a Canadian thing 😁

OK...yet another forward compatibility question. This time I checked to see if A-main weighs in re: compatibility

Will the 31639 belt tensioner work on the 6.1 Worlds chassis? I imagine so, but...

Many thanks in advance,

Scottrik
