Default VBC Ghost - low cost TC

Looks like VBC is throwing their hat into the low cost TC ring.

Overall. Car looks really good. Be interesting once some hit the track.

VBC Racing have introduced the Ghost scale spec, an all new platform designed for Scale Spec touring car class. The Ghost is essentially a competition touring car with some different materials to keep the costs down and as such has an ultra low CofG, a FRP 3mm chassis and 2mm upper deck that provide more linear flex response and better weight balance as well as a dual crank steering system with a low CofG design for better handling. In terms of materials there is full aluminium 7075 bulkheads, motor mount, turnbuckles and ball connectors and it comes with a front spool and rear gear differential. The floating aluminium 7075 center servo mount is standard equipment as are front and rear sway bars and aluminium 7075 shocks with TBB shock shaft and springs

Aside from losing the CF and that gorgeous red strut in the middle, I can't see where they cut corners. What is the price point and is it geometrically identical to the Wildfire D06? Also, based on the wheels and tires in the pics, I would say that someone thinks this would make a good chassis for VTA. I think I agree. I just wonder if I can live without CF and that pretty red centerpiece.
