Not unless Xray makes new pod plates that allow the rear wing brace to be mounted (Top Rebel F1 style).

I have a issue on the side link when i build the care. Even I unscrew all 4 screws that tighten the ball end in the side link. The rear pot will not move unless I use my hand to move it (the car is half built and I just put the rear pot)It is still not smooth. I have already
1. check if the screws are overly tighten
2. check if the middle ball end is over tighten

I removed the chassis screws for the side links and the rear pot move freely

I removed the centre screw (that link the chassis and rear plate) and the side links move freely

It feels like the when I tighten all 3 point together (side links and centre link), the rear pot will not move freely

If I just have the centre link or the side link (both sides), the rear plate will move freely

What else can I check? I am using the aluminum chassis and rear plate

Thank you

As stated in the manual, loose the center pivot screws such that the whole assembly could slide forward and backward. Then tighten the side links pivot. You can check if the pod moves freely. Last tighten the center pivot to the plate.

I had the same issue.. You have to leave a little bit of play in the centre pivot ball - do not fully tignten the M3x6 screws in the plastic pivot ball holder assembly. After I did that the rear end was perfect and it stayed that way.

First image of the new car. Should the image be indicative, the only difference which can be spotted is a new rear wing and different body...

Looks like TRG rear advanced wing, which is nice, but not very durable wing. Cool if they made it from better material, sucks if not..

Looks to me the pot is X12'16 style. Hope I am wrong as it may be weaker than the original X1 one.

Has anybody here fitted a TOP Racing Type 1 or similar old-school body (Serpent?) to the car with the battery across? At best it seems to be a tight fit...

They appear to be brand labeled from Mon-Tech

Mon-Tech Racing
Front Wing Black – 015-006
Front Wing White – 015-009
Rear Wing Black – 015-007
Rear Wing White – 015-008

Re-packaged Montech, so Xray can sell them as well I would guess.

Avoid Serpent, they break too easily.
Others have said the Montech seem to be strong

The MonTech are quite a lot better and most definitely stronger!
