maybe they have fixed the tweak problem in the X1 2016 Spec . There's not been an official announcement or any information on it at all, but lots of shops are taking preorders and it is a new kit number.

The only information XRAY has given us is the slightly higher price than the previous X1 & that we'll have it by the end of October most likely, together with the name of the kit (which isn't very spectacular ;-) )

X1 ran well with my 200mm kit on the front at a big meeting here this past weekend, he didn't quite come away with the overall win but TQ'd with it.

Now to make some bits to get some front ride height with small foams

Default Body selection

What seems to be the popular body for this car, when running the battery sideways, not inline?

All our club guys just use the X1 body with a Tamiya F60 front wing, seems to work really well

Does any one know if the new 15 body fits with either/ both battery configurations?

Regards

To me it looks like it'd be hard to mount if the battery is sideways, the back corners of the body look to be pretty low. Again, that's just how I see it, maybe someone knows better?

I use the PF2013 body and I also use a damper tube across the rear instead of the shock damper. It's smooth.

For the F1-Fifteen, standard shorty pack fits inline. Transverse will require a low-profile / LCG pack.

The Thirteen and Fourteen both fit all configurations fine.

PF Thirteen body with Much More 4500 transverse lipo;

Notice I can't quite get the rear of the body to sit low enough, but you can't see that at all when running.
