Maybe $300-330 is my best guess.

If it's anymore than $330 and I think I will stick to my Tamiya F104 V1........If it includes the body than maybe I'll pay more

I'm guessing it will be over 300. But it will be "Luxurious" and "Optimized".

I believe this car will make all the F1 cars with batteries longitudinally mounted redundant given time. Weight distribution is very important.

An interesting thought, but when the first F104 came out to get it to handle racers put extra weights either side of the battery to emulate the F103 transverse battery weight distribution. As the cars have developed we are now putting the battery forwards against the servo, moving the weight distribution as far forward as possible.

I don't know about other rules, but the transverse battery limits the number of bodies that can be used here in the UK. Our rules state that none of the chassis can be seen sticking out of the body when viewed from above.

Probably also depends on the wheelbase. Xray may have a shorter wheelbase than the other cars. The battery position will give more rear grip, but also more steering due to a shorter wheelbase possibly. If i can see correctly in the picture, the servo may be mounted further back also.

Looks like a ZFC-014, Yokomo YRF001, and a Tamiya 101 all wrapped into one.

Exactly what I've been looking for. But, I have too many RC's right now.

The X1 already has a TQ and 1st place finish at Round 1 of ETS 2015 season in Hrotovice. Jan Ratheisky was at the wheel of the X1.

Default xray x1

i wonder if the battery being transverse it will make it easier to drive like 1/12 scale is in 17.5?

Here's a good look at the body that Xray designed for the X1.

With this Xray body on the car, the chassis and all side-links are definitely not visible when viewed from above.
