Smile X1 on the way

Waiting delivery of my X1. New to this class so wondering what spare parts would be suggested to have on hand as will expect some hard hits getting used to car and handling. Read about bearings - any suggestions much appreciated.

Extra spur gear, axle bearings, 5x1mm O-ring, and an assortment of extra spacers. The car overall is pretty robust.

Mine copped a couple of knocks on the weekend that would have seen my previous F1 car just about explode.
Was my first run with it, and I couldn't be happier.
Didn't touch a thing and it felt better from the first lap than my F1R2 and F110.
The track isn't very smooth, but it rode better than many of the touring cars.
Typical Xray really.

I would have asked the local guys are our track, but we only had 3 show up for our F1 event (we usually have at least 6 or 7) and I totally forgot to ask, -got caught up in my own classes.

As I build my X1 I am curious what tires you all recommend?
I need to run rubber tires, we race on parking lot/asphalt and is high grip.
I know nothing about F1 but assume tires come in various temperatures as well?? -is this correct? I usually switch tires as the day gets hotter.

thanks!

Pit shimizu 571 front/572 rears will be fine for Groudpounders. Will work in warmer weather too. Just don't oversauce.

The NorCal crew may head up there if there is an RCFIA race. But not sure if the series will happen.

It is an F1 traveling points series in the NorCal region. Started in 2012 but looks like the F1 resurgence is finally back. It's similar to UF1 in its heyday.

Hey guys,

What aftermarket spur gear works on the x1? I'm looking for a 76t.

Arrowmax spurs also work in the X1.
