didn't begin this build so I'm just wondering if this should be this close, that is the motor mount upright and the link. They touch when rear suspension is compressed and not all that much???

Yes they touch and limit the suspension movement upwards. I am also concerned. However when pushed down with wheels, the front plate hits the ground sooner than the motor plate hits the side shock.

That's what I figured, but thought it odd. Thanks!

Protoform 13' Tamiya Vodofone Merc real wing and Tamiya ferrari long nose front wing.

First time with F1, hopefully I'll get it right next time

Thinking about returning to on-road to race F1. For those of you that have had the opportunity to drive their cars, what's your first impression?

Anyone know where I can find this car. Looks like its sold out everywhere!

the last time I ran my Tamiya F104, my fast lap was a 10.6 and an average of 11.4, On the same track with the stock X1 setup I ran a fast lap of 9.96 and an average of 10.35 so not only was I faster with the X1 but also more consistent. the car is easy to drive and easy to push hard for fast lap times. by far the BEST F1 I have driven......so glad I got an X1 over the others I was considering. I used Pits 571/572 hooked up awesome.
