Hey guys, have any of you had any issues with assembling the sevo saver? I tried putting it together and i was a snowflake in a snow storm away from chucking a Bruce Banner! It p!$$ed me off so much i chucked it and im using the servo horn that came with my servo.

Same as the touring one is it not?
If you haven't built one, yep they are a pain, literally.

I found its easiest to install them opposite to the instructions.
Put the springs on the other piece of the servo saver first.

I may have done it that way with my t4, i might give it a try, otherwise ill stick to the normal servo horn.

I don't think they had them for long. I spent the past few days living on that site trying to wrap my head around f1 tires. During breaks, I surfed the site quite a bit and didn't come across the X1 until the other poster made note of it. That aside, I think tqracing is a very good site for f1 owners. They have a wide range of f1 parts to fill our thirst.

Hey all. Is anyone using a 48p spur gear in their car? I use kimborough Spurs in my old top rebel but no longer have the car or the Spurs to see if they fit the X1. Not a fan of the 64p. Thanks
Pat

Put the springs on as per the manual, then mount that plastic piece which now has the springs on onto your servo.
You can now put the outer section of the servo saver on by pushing and twisting (the servo needs to be at the end of it's travel in one direction so that it's held still), once the saver is almost on on that side, twist the servo around (while still pushing on the out part) so that the servo goes to the end of it's travel in the other direction, this should now push the springs apart so the outer section can push fully home.

Does that make any sense?
