Exploded view of the X1.

Questions that have been asked about the X1:
  1. Will different front wings (i.e. Tamiya hard plastic wings) fit on the X1? Answer: Yes, the bolt pattern is the same.
  2. What size are the rear hex hubs? Answer: 14mm, same as Tamiya.
  3. Will the new PROTOform F1 bodies fit on the X1? Answer: Yes. Confirmed by EricP.

After seeing the pics on RedRC I see the car can use an in-line battery configuration which should help more scale bodies like the Tamiyas fit better. But I wonder if the wide links are going to fit under a Tamiya body using the optional side pods. I remember my Exotek chassis had issues with the links not fitting well under a narrow body. Other than that question the car looks fantastic!

Can say the same thing for the CRC, and Serpent. The WTF-1 is a Xti and the Serpent is a S120.

Pretty car, but the front wing is a joke. That piece won't last through a single club race. It looks like a complete afterthought.

Nice looking car, I still think I'd put the F1R2 as next on my list in front of it though. The CRC is on my current build table. The dual dampers of either car are my preference to the refudged Associated 12th scale sliding side damper.

It's the rigid hard plastic bumper under the lexan wing that's impressive. A couple of screw holes and some hard plastic wings of different styles to fit on or snap down over it. No more dragging end plates! Only wishful thinking. Of course a strip CF under the wing will do the trick too.
