I'm also trying to understand how rear pod droop effects handling characteristics of the F1.

Thanks!

You can run up to 6 easy. But on a bumpy track I have been running 4.5-5 with little to no issues.

What weight dampener lube you guys using on the dampener tubes for the new crc high grip carpet? And has anyone ever ran the smaller 2s shorty packs (Trinity XL for example) in the car? New to F1 this year and brainstorming stuff, thanks.

Go lite Tommy. 10k maybe 20k. Not sure how many people have tried the lite shorty packs just because of required weight for F1 rules. I think the weight is 1020g or 1050g. The car just makes weight using a standard shorty pack.

IMO, absolutely overkill. 45a should be more than enough.

Tommy

I've been running a Motiv pack in my car. I've got an aluminum chassis. To make the car come up to weight I added the brass flat weights. The main reason was I wanted to run the Protoform 15 body with which you need to run a flat pack. Lap times were pretty much the same as with the regular shorty pack. I really don't think was any real advantage. I have also run a Hobbywing Just Stock speeder since I got the car with no problems.
