This is the setup I have on my TC4 with the same motor. Stock 72 spur and 24 tooth pinion. This combo should be the same for yours ( I think )

I hope I helped you.

what size are your tires? You need that to figure roll out.

For rubber tires, 72/24 is a 8.0 final if I remember correctly which would be good starting point for a monster

Way too high a ratio....
I start at 7.0 with rubber tires...That is really near the sweet spot for the Monsters....
Also buy some trinity 767 brushes and purple spring on the possative and red on the negative...This will give you the best results...Most often...
Also here is a link to the gear chart...
http://www.gearchart.com/index.cfm?f...n=chart.create
just go into the drop down menu and sellect TC3 and then put in your spur and pinion hit enter and your happy happy...
Glad to eb a service,

Just tried my new Trinity Green Machine 27T for the first race meet today & started off with 72 spur 26 pinion (6.9-1.0) & it was ok...

BUT for the final dropped down to a 24 pinion for a 7.5-1.0 ratio.. WHAT a difference 2 teeth make,it just came ALIVE..

So for the Monster Stock...IMO somewhere between 7.0 & 7.5-1.0 would be a good starting point.

Good luck

Cheers

I have a green Team 1 motor. My TC3 runs best at 72 Spur/24 Pinion. the motor is just a little bit hot for my taste.
