just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know that to get an event tee shirt, you must be registered, by the website, no later than march 20th. registration on the website will remain open all the way up to the race for the same price, but you won't get a tee shirt after march 20th. you can sign up at the race, but the cost is $10 higher per class.

The reason for pre registration is very simple. we need to get a good idea of how many people are coming, so we can order tires, and figure out how many tables and chairs we need. our actual track pit space is not large enough to fit everyone in, so we have to rent additional space, tables and chairs. if we have a bunch of people show up without pre registering, we run the risk of being short both tires and pit space, which makes for a bunch of unhappy people and a lot of scrambling around to try and get it all figured out at the last minute.

PLEASE, as a common courtesy to us and your fellow racers, pre register. not just for this race, but any race that offers.

Thank you.

Are belt cars still able to run at this "shaft love fest"?

Just kidding.

We haven"t registered yet, but I'm trying to get at least 4 of us back for another great race. That would be 3 TC and 1 pan.

Will there be a Thursday night race prior to the big race?

Thanks

Great news! We're excited to have you guys back! And yeah, you can bring those rubber band cars and show the shaft crowd they're not obsolete yet!

For me personally, the club race has always been my favorite part of the weekend. Maybe I'm weird, but I like racing more when people haven't had 10,000 practice laps on a layout and the traction is usually slightly less insane than qualifying. But the whole event is a lot of fun. MHIC and Halloween Classic are my favorite big races.
