How do you feel about these batteries? My first impression was I liked the look and 6500 80C for $80 from my LHS was worth it, but when I looked at the bullets they use 5mm and all my other batteries use either 4mm or deans.. Figured I'd buy one and see how it is since I love my Orca speedo.. The 5mm bullets wouldn't really bother me except I can't find them anywhere.. Anyway just venting since I can't use any of my other batteries until I get the 5mm bullets I ordered or just buy another ORCA lipo..

get the battery adaptors so you can use your 5mm to 4mm batteries.

I just solder my own adapters. Its not that hard. Find 4mm Female adapters and use the 5mm male from the pack

Had no idea they had 5mm bullets but I got everything sorted out and used the batteries for the first time and they're 10x better than what I had (OHP) and only put 2 cycles through them today.. I was told they have to break in to get the full potential

All the new 80c intellect batteries have 5mm plugs to handle big current. Except the shorty pack used in off road and I think the 1s 12 pack as well. I would expect 5mm will be the norm by the end of the year.

If you have 4mm bullets, just see if you can spread the center out with a 1.5mm driver. Just push the driver through the center. It will be a snug fit on the 5mm plug on the battery depending on how much you actually open the center out.

Like others have said, these are one of the few top tier batteries. Never buy batteries from high volume brands cause their QC is sub par especially in particular, Team Orion. Of all the established brands with a large market presence, Thunder Power is the only one consistently putting out good batteries.

I've been running these fir almost a year now. I have one if the 7000 packs thst has hundreds of cycles on it and is a little puffed. (Left it at full charge fir almost 2 weeks). I ran it and it was still as good as new. This was almost 4 months ago and the pack still has an IR of 3.8 for the pack. I just got 2 of the new 7500 90c and know they will be just as good if not better.
