Reedy black label 2
 

Any of you guys run reedy black label 2 batts for practice? They claim to be 3300 nimh, not so with my pack. I cut it open 1500 nicd, i was pretty hot! This ever happen to any of you?

id go to your LHS and get them to to check out some more packs.

if it happens in say 3 or 4, i'd be emailing reedy/AE to see whats going on!

I was pretty shocked,No wonder i wasnt getting the run time i needed. I thought it had a shorted cell. Thats the only reason i cut into it!

were did u get them from?

How much did you pay for the pack?

The first thing you should do even before posting on here :confused: is contact the manufacture directly!

contact AE, they may not even know this themselves, i'm sure they will correct this issue fast. especially if they are labeled as NIMH and NICADS are inside. could cause problems when racers are using the wrong charging methods. possibly a recall issue like one of their chargers

any problems i had with parts from kits, were dealt with quickly and at no expense to me.

David, 35 bucks for it. Ive sent team associated an e-mail explaining what happend, hopefully they will get back to me pretty quick. You know its not like 35 bucks is gonna break me or anything, Im really not that worried about the deal, but people should be aware when that kinda stuff happens.
