I beg to differ. The fact that these bodies ARE one piece is precisely why rc F1 enthusiasts are excited about them. Less work, less weight, easier masking of stripes etc, more structural integrity and no unsightly attaching hardware showing.

They actually DO have a realistic amount of undercut shaping in the side pods - without being paper thin anywhere.

Dale, my comment was not a shot at you or your product. I think it is great that you are making another option for racers in the class. The comment was aimed at those who feel that anything but an exact replica is somehow a bad thing for the class.

Got everything but rear axle built tonight. Front end went together pretty well. Need to mount speed control, receiver, transponder and wait for the Crc f1 body to get here....guess I'll go race 12th and wgt while I wait for the mail this weekend....

Stuart Patrick used his WTF1 to TQ and win the F1 class at the USVTA Southern Nationals in Nashville last weekend.

My WTF1 is all together now but there is one little problem. The PF F1-Thirteen doesn't fit properly. Unfortunately the rear of the body has a really low profile which looks really nice but the CRC chassis has components that sit higher than other cars and unless I butcher the body, it won't sit low enough to work properly. I will post some pics tonight. I love the body but it doesn't fit. However, the Tamiya F60 does fit well. Sorry Dale, I was so enthusiastic about the new bodies but you may need to create one catered to the WTF1 specifically.
