Default Shaft car for Carpet

What would be a better car for the carpet? A TC4 or an Alex "Cuda" R3,It's for stock, rubber tires.I know that an RDX or FK05 would be better but I dont own either so unless you want to give me one.. stick to an opinion on the R3 or the TC4..thanks

I think the TC4 would be better, but I haven't owned the latest version on the cuda.

I would do it on parts alone. I think the FT TC4 is probably the way to go.

Agreed, especially the FT TC4, with its ability to adjust the chassis stiffness without having to use a different chassis altogether(you just change the number of support posts between the upper & lower decks), so it should be EXTREMELY adaptable to pretty much any surface, carpet or otherwise....

Thanks for the info guys.. I just opened a carpet track and have never really ran on one.. I'm trying to figure this out.. Tried an 04 BMI FK but i did not really like it or the Mi2 so it's down to the R3 or TC4..I'll try the TC4 this week and see how it goes,Thanks again for the input.

Does 26 or 28mm foam tires fit the R3 fine?

seeing how the FT tc4 isent out yet and will be really expensive, you can get a BMI TC3. the have the top deck like the FT TC4 so you get the tuing opions and the BMI chassis is pefect to make a tc3 ready for carpet

xxxkat: Nix 'em both and get a JRX-S dude. I can adjust my diffs with a ball-point pen!

On the carpet track: You gotta have some people running foam tires on there to give the carpet a good groove. I REALLY have to get a ride down there sometime to check it out!

Dan,Matt has been running on the track every friday night,I had thought about getting the Losi but I did not like the way the radio gear has to go in and the way the batterys go in..to many "problems".. I had a BMI Pro4(wish I still had it)But for now I guess I'll stick to the TC4 for stock.

The electronics layout isn't that bad. I dropped the ESC from my XRay right into it (I had to shorten my negative wire a bit) The battery thing is kinda odd though, they should have made the chassis opening a little bit wider (along with the tray)

xxxkat: Look for someone from San Jose down there....A need a lift.....and a job!
