Learned at the track front brace not really needed. You just have to add 2 or 3mm shims under upper plastic bumper, takes away flex in the front.

Well the worst kept secret in UK R/C with Olly Jefferies going to Xray has now been announced on RedRC http://www.redrc.net/2013/12/jefferi...am-associated/ so I guess that makes it official LOL.

A full factory drive as well, as of January 1st at least
2014 is going to be interesting

Will be interesting to see how he does with Xray's 1/12 car as he's been very fast with Associated's

2014 BRCA champion in TC is my bet.

I had a TC6/6.1 myself, not a bad car, but miles behind the Xray in every area (build quality, steering, corner speed). Sure Olly will make a step forwards and kick ass next year.

Top current UK Xray drivers are probably James Hart and Phil Chambers, though Phil is racing a bit less recently due to work commitments.

I read that Spashett is going to try and race the ARC as much as possible, or words to that effect.

We are looking forward to next season with Olly on the team! He's got a lot of experience, should give us all a big boost

'Wide Axle' versions are 52mm, 'Narrow Axle' are 51mm and use narrower bearings.
Thanks Skiddins. I ordered them a few days ago and got them yesterday. They look very good. The only downside is that I got the narrow axles instead of the wide version :-( (and I tried short ECS shafts in the past, but I don't like them in the front) I hope I can work this out with Cristian.

Also order the thinner steering shim from RSD which increased the lock on my inner wheel from 27° to 30° (1mm ackerman shim installed). The steering blocks don't touch the C hubs yet so that's great. And it's a lot cheaper than buying the alu steering arms.

I use the narrow dcj's in the front and they work great, you should try them.

They didn't come with the special bearings and I don't have laying them around. Short shafts make the too aggressive on big carpet tracks IMO. On a 20x12m track I use my 1.6mm X-ray shafts. But my 2.0mm ecs shafts from X-ray are weak.
