Learned at the track front brace not really needed. You just have to add 2 or 3mm shims under upper plastic bumper, takes away flex in the front.

Will be interesting to see how he does with Xray's 1/12 car as he's been very fast with Associated's

I had a TC6/6.1 myself, not a bad car, but miles behind the Xray in every area (build quality, steering, corner speed). Sure Olly will make a step forwards and kick ass next year.

Top current UK Xray drivers are probably James Hart and Phil Chambers, though Phil is racing a bit less recently due to work commitments.
I read that Spashett is going to try and race the ARC as much as possible, or words to that effect.

Also order the thinner steering shim from RSD which increased the lock on my inner wheel from 27° to 30° (1mm ackerman shim installed). The steering blocks don't touch the C hubs yet so that's great. And it's a lot cheaper than buying the alu steering arms.

Thanks Skiddins. I ordered them a few days ago and got them yesterday. They look very good. The only downside is that I got the narrow axles instead of the wide version :-( (and I tried short ECS shafts in the past, but I don't like them in the front) I hope I can work this out with Cristian.

They didn't come with the special bearings and I don't have laying them around. Short shafts make the too aggressive on big carpet tracks IMO. On a 20x12m track I use my 1.6mm X-ray shafts. But my 2.0mm ecs shafts from X-ray are weak.
