This means the links movement in each direction is not identical.
We're obviously being a bit pedantic here as the required angle (when using the stock xray saver in the top hole) never gets past the point of mattering. I'm just going to agree to disagree.

Fair enough, you have full lock, and so do I with a few percent difference in EPA's

Mine just showed up at my LHS in Dallas today. My new orca ESC, motor and batteries will be here Friday. Looks like it will be a good weekend to put a new car together.

I have a savox on my t4 and wanted more lock....
No problem with the servo but I had the issue of the spacer hitting the steering arms. Got over this by using a up turned top hat/steering bush with a 1 mm shim on top. Can now get my steering knuckles to touch the c hubs if I require.
Still waiting for my 14 :-(
Will have to use my t4 at cwic this Sunday. see when the 14 arrives as to when I when and if it will be ready for round 2

The point of the spacer hitting the steering arms is to limit lock to ensure good corner speed and less scrub, ideally you need to make changes to your setup to get the steering by other means.

James, I'll be at CIWC in 13.5 on Sunday as well, but running the new car

Started on the new car tonight and in the usual xray fashion it's going together very nicely. The new arm mounts look like they will be a good change once you get used to it. I love building new cars. They look so nice and clean.

I played around with the rear arm slop a bit more. Indeed, pinching the mounts while tightening will get the slop out. But being paranoid I thought a good tap might knock them back to their more natural position. So I put an extra .2mm shim on each arm, and just carefully tightened the mounts to let them settle in, and there's no slop, and the arms are free. There may be just a teeny bit more friction than normal, but they still fall quite freely. I'll see how it does on the track. .1mm would probably be better, but I was out of those.

The front arms have just the tiniest bit of play in them, just like .05mm. They should be just right.

if you think about it,the servo is irrelevant, the saver needs to be at a 90 to the link rod to achieve equal motion each way
