Hey guys,

Am wondering what springs are everyone using? I have the Sakura spring set and the Hot Bodies set but was wondering what other spring options are there?

Also, instead of the hard progressive springs, you could try 2.7s front and rear.
I tried 2.5░ of toe in instead of 3░, but the car was too twitchy on power. I'll try the 2.7s springs this weekend.

Here's my current setup: http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...&setup=t4_2014
I think running higher roll centers in the rear and running the 1.3 rear bar is probably keeping the rear of the car from rolling, and in turn not giving you the loss of lateral grip you're looking for.

I think I'd probably try going back to a 1.2 rear bar, and if it's loose on power, try 400 cst rear oil.

2.3, 2.5 and 2.5-2.8 are the normal ones. Other than the factory xray springs I would recommend RSD.

I have been enjoying the T4 for the last 8 months or so racing it in a VTA type class.
The only complaint has been how it is not very easy to access the grub screw on the pinion. An extra hole in the chassis at the correct location would be nice.

For T4 2014, I would have to buy optional rear pieces to change the rear toe whereas on my T4 2013 I can use different shims, right?

I just finished putting it together...waiting on electronics to complete as a VTA build...
Assembly was a non issue, very nice indeed...
But I've found that with HPI,5 spoke wheels, the wheels make contact with the lower shock cup at full lock...I expect no worries as it sounds as if I will have more than enough steering without having to go anywhere near full lock...but I have "+" wheel hexs on the way in any case...
And open stye rod ends on the upper links will be a must...
On another note, this is only the second gear diff I have used..the first in a AE TC6.1...this is not a burn on associated, but the difference is night and day...this Xray diff borders on the smoothness of a ball diff...me like a lot...!

All parts to change toe come with kit. Little plastic inserts in alum blocks.
slip the rear block off swap inserts and re fit.

Thanks! Drove the car again yesterday at an other track, but they have the same carpet and the car was great by narrowing RR with 0.5 (2.5░ toe), 2░ camber front and rear and 50mm rear ECS shafts. There's still room for improvements, but a least it turnings better.

The only thing that bothers me a lot with this car is that my front ECS shafts with 2.0mm pins break all the time. I have 6 meetings on this car and broke already 2 of them. And both broke while driving and not from a crashing
I'm going to repair once more and sell them.
I order DCJ shafts from reflex racing and I hope they are better.

The front belt snapped at the end of the straight. Last year I drove a whole season indoor with the same belts :/
