Has anybody used the white Tamiya or Yokomo blades on their Xray successfully?

to me it looks like Xray have always over designed their TC's. They just look a 'tad' over weight. I know there not and are great performers but every time I see the next new model I think they could have made that part smaller or trimmed some material from there... they just have that look. Funny thing is that I don't do that with a Tamiya or HB car just Xray.
I think that maybe they are trying to design the car for 'EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY' hence the 10% (?) overdesign.
Having said all that I WILL order one when they come out ...lol

Hey guys,
I seem to have a problem with my Xray ECS shafts. At full lock they touch the front of the Chub inside. My Arrowmax ECS shafts don't do that.
Has anybody had a similar problem or a solution for this?
I don't really want to dremel the Chub...
Thanks.

David

I found the problem:
I tested the shaft with full lock (steering block and Chub touching).
What i forgot is that the T4 platform has slightly limited lock.
I noticed that after connecting the steering rack to the steering blocks.
Now it's working, but the distance between shaft and Chub is still next to nothing.

I ran mine all winter with heatshrink over the pins and never had problems indoor. I drive with full lock and the heatshrink isn't damaged.
