The travel on the 1251 must not be consistant from servo to servo, I do my setup exaclty like Skiddins does and I also tried the 90* system and I get equal travel on my set up stations with a 4PK at 120% and my Savox is nowhere near full travel. My Futaba gets full travel easily. I have seen here a few guys with Savox are getting full travel so I have to believe that different Savox servos must have different travels. There is no way you could get full travel with the amount of degrees my Savox servo will move.

Could also be different radios.

Very true. I don't even know all the stuff on my KO but I only use the travel and balance menus. I have the travel at 150 and the balance at 87% right and 80% left. I don't know what this translates to on other radios. Maybe like it was said above that the 4pk gets 120% And that's what's causing some to not get full travel side to side. But I know all three of my cars have a 1251 or a 1258 and all are pretty much identical. So I guess the common denominator is my radio.

I had issues with a savox servo getting full travel when I ran a 4Pksr no issues since going back to ko, I've also only run ko servos since then. I was never happy with my savox stuff.

7% off or unequal to me seems a lot, more so if the KO is getting full travel at 80%, mine was around that with the link as per the build manual, but to me thats enough to notice a steering speed difference, I aim for dead equal or maybe 1-2%.

hi there make sure on your servo saver the insert for your brand of servo the letter is in the middle at the top might help with the throw issue.cheers

Same here, 7% seems a fair bit in terms of turning circle on the track. I guess if he set the servo saver with at a slight angle ( and I mean slight) it would be just about bang on.

Car looks good. What setup changes have you tried from stock and what tyres are you on? Looking foward to trying mine out at the next rug racers event.

I have a m11 radio using savox low pro servo and i can easily get full lock easy, car doesnt have a lot of steering throw. Ordered rsd smaller o/d spacer should get probably a mm to 2 mm extra throw. Havent ran car yet but if i have plenty of steering stock then i probaly wont even put on the rsd spacer

7% really isn't that much off. Considering 5% barely moves the servo .5*. Maybe I'm just not that picky about it. My turning circle is the sane in both directions and the speed in both directions feels the same. It could just be a tolerance issue with servo parts.

I'm building my shocks and the balls are very tight in the lower shock ends. Is any else having this problem? Not sure if this is supposed to be like this or if it's a manufacturing fault.

The upper balls move freely, but the lower ones bind in all 4 shocks. I positioned the shiny surface to the outside, just like the manuals tells you to do.

You probably tightened the ball ends too much on the shock shaft. Try backing it off a little bit, but make sure your shocks are the same length when you do.
