How dramatic are the cars in differences between the 14, 15, and 16? Basically the 14 and 15 are obsolete...I'm worried bout parts support. If so I should go with the 16 thn.

Agreed. You won't be hurting for parts anytime soon with your car. I have a '15 car that I don't plan to move on from because it's so similar to the '15 car.

I need a new chassis plate for my T4. What aftermarket chassis are people using and what are the pros and cons? Also, do aftermarket chassis from the 15 & 16 fit?

I'm running on smooth asphalt, mix of fast sweepers and tight infield. Medium grip I guess? 13.5T blinky.

Thanks,
Scott

For an aftermarket chassis, I would recommend Avid. They have a few of the carbon chassis for the '14 in stock.

Hi Guys,

is the t4 2014 chassis compatible with any other year models?
I need to replace a 2014 chassis/bottom deck, but can't seem to find one. Any help would be appreciated.

Could try here

http://shop.smokem-racing.com/XRAY-T4-Parts_c_7.html

I haven't bought from them, but my T4 14 came with a Smokem chassis and it seems good.

http://www.rcdisco.com/part-info.php?partNo=XR301135

They changed the motor mount and servo mount for the '15 onwards, so it'll be expensive to use a later chassis.
