Thank you for the info!

Update please? So how has the body held up in the races?

If anyone is looking for a helluva deal on an LM-1, Organic Mechanic has one for sale with upgrades. If I didn't already have one, I would've bought it and you wouldn't be seeing this. :-)

Heck, I'll sell you mine. Built and practiced twice, never raced. $100 plus shipping...

Just haven't had time to post it.

I thought you all might like to see the promo I did for the LM-1 spec class at Premier RC.

Alternative music version: http://youtu.be/QPQb6IvNYW8

Regarding the body, the front has taken quite a beating and has lost a few bits; but other than that it's holding up well. I'll post a picture later.

Is it just me, or does it seem that Solara is MIA? He used to post here frequently.

BTW, that is one nice video.....I am still racing my Ferrari scheme LM1, body still racing strong....

Great video. Thanks for sharing this. For a split second I thought the two LM1 were going to take the wall ride up!

In regards to bodies, all the Speed Passion bodies will hold up welll just like any other touring car body. Any of the parts that instruct you to use double sided tape to affix to the body you can substitute screws. The best bodies I've seen worked up use the little Tamiya body screws/nuts that come with their kits. Built with those they hold up like champs.

Someone mentioned a RTR version. At this point it's been talked about, but nothing final. A lot is going on with the new V4 modifieds just released, V4 spec motors about to drop, and other new things...

Default Whistler Mustang

Hey guys,

Here is my Whistler Mustang for our Xfinity LM-1 class. It still needs it's numbers, but for the most part it's complete

The body is a McCallister Mustang Nascar using Duratrax body posts with a VBC Wildfire foam bumper. Everything fits without modification.

That's awesome!

AngryMelon,
Did you have to shorten the wheelbase for the McAllister body to fit? I thought the LM-1s wheelbase was too long for the usual 1/10 scale bodies.
