What hex does the LM-1 have?
Does Tamiya F103/F104 from and rear wheels fit?

F103 fronts have about 3.5mm more offset than the SP LM1 fronts (7mm total width across the car). Same for the F104 rims.

very cool new body
Saw this story on the above French website....very cool new LeMan's body, 4 different styling options available in the one body kit (different front end and rear dorsal-fin options). Very nice!

The idea is trying to catch ppl to join the LeMan/F1 series as affordable as possible....sure we have the full carbon fiber and aluminum version (right now) but if releasing that version as a kit with the body that will be like $350-400 range, instead of a sub $200 price tag right now.
And believe me, this chassis is far from un-drivable. Those who race F1 will know the SP1 based platform is definitely race-worthy.
Of course, the entire LM-1 option parts can be purchase separate for those who really want to make the chassis look nice.

This isnt a class about having the latest hop ups and all the carbon and aluminum blingy craziness...this is about coming up with a beautiful looking car that anyone can afford, from the father and son looking for a hobby to enter together to the seasoned hobbyist looking to get out of the chassis of the week game that much of onroad has become (outside of VTA). If it was about impressing people, Id be willing to bet that this chassis wouldnt have been released. This is a simple car with a price point that wont break anyone's bank and is a class that can be entered with minimal initial outlay.
