Hi, For guys that are on a budget. Hobby King has a pan car , the GT-10X
which looks like it can be used with the LM-1 body and it is only $65.00.
Regards,
Norman
PS. It is 200mm and 260mm wheelbase which can easily modified to
270mm by drilling some additional front suspension holes.

Or buy a second bottom plate for all of $16.00 and make an extension out of it.

With $30 shipping from China...plus parts to mod for LM1 front and rear tires (rear diff axle and stuff, front suspension and parts) - God knows what kinda foam are those. And that front shot (picture) of the front suspension that look like a DRIFT CAR kit...LOL, plus parts to extend the kit and if that works...Then, running 1S? Or mod to fit a 2S shorty going across that might not fit and might need to lift the rear shock higher then it needed.....why bother?

Hi Solara, You are completely right as I never thought about other changes.
I just posted that for info. I am ordering from you an LM-1 chassis next month
when I get my pension. Wanted to do this in January but the budget is tight.
Regards

I'll save my money for the LM1. With the only onroad track within a reasonable drive over in Chesapeake and its outdoor only, I'll have a few weeks to get what I need and hopefully take it for a shakedown and maybe have the same results that celt and a few others have had getting interest in the LM1 at their tracks

I remember a "John Higgins," well sort of...can't recall the face it's been so long...

In my VERY opinionated opinion, DPs are just this side of an abomination, so putting a DP paint scheme on anything that isn't a DP is heresy in my mind.
Flame away folks!! (The Corvette DP isn't a COMPLETE abomination, only partial!) :-)

Hi, Beautiful! Have a lot of memories ot that car as my son J.C. Storer
was the crew chief on those cars in Road Atlanta where they were built.
Thanks for posting. I have a lot of photos and will scan them and post them.

Norman
