The rear axle hex would have to change from 14mm to 12mm, I believe.

You have certainly put a lot of effort into it which i am sure many other will find useful.Volvo invented the 3-point safety belt, considered the most important safety feature of all time.

Default Speed Passion LM-1

Hi, Just completed my LM-1 body with my own livery. It is mounted on a F104
chassis with the GT front bumper with body posts. Chassis has the 200mm
extension kit. I am happy with the way it came out and it will be hard for
other guys to get the decals. Enjoy and regards
Norman2
PS, I am still finishing my spoiler and will post some more photos

Today was our first outing! !

We got put together with 3 minis, 1 vta car 1 12th pan and our 2 lm1's. They were more fun than we expected and how cool they look around the track. My friend went for the 5* caster blocks and I did wrong going with 10* as I was oversteering a lot!. I need to lower the car a lot what springs do I need to use up front? Is 4-5mm ideal?

I went with AE .018 and 30K oil on the pins. I also went with 5 deg castor with the 1mm shim at the front of the block.

What kind of comments did they have at the track on how they looked? Anybody sound like they might be interested in adding to the LM1 ranks?

Thanks

What is the consensus on motor limit? 17.5 or 21.5?

Everyone seems to want to go with 17.5

We ran 17.5 last saturday, but I think I'm going to swap it for 21.5 for a few reasons.

Keep the racing more close like gt
Less tire wear
With cold weather here traction is going to change.

I think that this will get the attention of many F1 drivers. I like the idea of keeping with their motor and battery rules, if 2s is the consensus.

Run a few 5-6 minute runs with the 21.5 and come back with your findings on that and we can get a good idea of what route to take. in the WEC, the LMPs are the faster class but if a series were born that ran both WGT and the LM1, both would be run separately so going with a slower motor might not be a bad idea
