For me, I always try and emphasize try, to run the kits as supplied first. It is hard to get someone to "buy" into a class when you tell them, "oh, by the way...", plus, I like the challenge
My kit arrived Friday. Hope to have it ready in time for the 8th.

My LM-1 chassis kit should arrive this week. Pretty excited about the possibilities - with the scale appearing wheels/tires and the longer wheelbase! Very cool indeed.

The realism and "cool factor" all hinge on the wheels and tires that are being used - impo. They either enhance or absolutely kill the body designs in rc racing. (can you say WGT and rc oval racing? ) The Speed Passion wheels and tire package will definitely "enhance" the look of any racebodies that are used in this class.

Bravo Speed Passion!

also, fastest TC laps were sub 8 seconds, not that it matters.
Should you get one now...?

I did some laps with an old 21.5 today. Car is considerably easier to be consistent with. Same "hot lap", just more consistent.

I do like the speed of the 17.5 down the straight and who wouldn't. I think 21.5 may be easier to race with others though.

I would suggest though, that if the class gets going, a minimum tire diameter is used much like the original Bolink Legends rules were to discourage cutting the tires down to skins much like WGT is now.

+1 on what ercwhtsd said.
I THINK my body and wheels/tires came in. It's a big box from SpeedPassion that is addressed to my wife, but my birthday was two weeks ago.
I am going to mount mine on my WRC F1 chassis that is equipped with their I.mola conversion.

I think that this class should stay LMP/ DP/ GTP/WSC Leave the GT bodies for USGT so that both classes can grow. Would be cool to see the Acura LMP1 body for this chassis, and maybe someone will bring out a BBS style wheel to compliment the awesome bodies

Eric, if a tire diameter was mandated, what would you recommend?
