Default HELP ON MUCH MORE PSU

Hi guys my friends just bought a Team Much More PSU from an online store, unfortunately its not working we opened it up hoping it would be a fuse and it was not. Although i noticed one of its electrical components was not soldered in the board would this cause it not to function? I can solder that but want to confirm from the electricina guru's out there.

Won't opening it up and messing about with it void your warranty ... I would just package it back up and send it back for replacement.

You canīt see everything from the picture but I think that choke should be soldered in. Maybe itīs from the filter section and the input voltage canīt go through now. But itīs very dangerous as there maybe some of the high voltage is still left from the mains even when unplugged.
As itīs new I really would send the PS back. Also I think if you solder you would void the guarantee.
