Wanted to let everyone know that CRC and BSR tires will also fit, just have to trim a little off of the outer edge in rear so not to wide. I ran chrome fronts and Greylow rears at the U.S. Indoor champs in 17.5 blinky and won my main with the first time out witht he car

upper arm turnbuckle
One slap into the outer board = 1 bent aluminum upper arm turnbuckle. The tiny little turnbuckles are so short that it just didn't seem possible that they could or would bend. But I can now attest they can and they do. Thankfully the steel ones from AE work. Or, even better, the titanium Lunsford ones that were recommended earlier in the thread. Either way, I found out this weekend that indeed the little aluminum upper arm tunbuckles are seceptable to bending. The hit that bent mine (and the first time that my car has experienced any sort of impact at all) wasn't all that hard. Aside from that one little issue caused by pilot error that spoiled my main, the car was excellent again. Lessons learned......don't brush the inside of the sweeper and launch in to the outside board at full boogie........either that or fit stronger turnbuckles to the upper front arms.

Club racing yesterday at 5280 Raceway with a number of us running this car. Still figuring out a good setup that suits my driving style, but some initial impressions include the following:
- The shock is very angled if using the box stock setup/shims, so I would recommend removing some of the shims on the upper pod plate if the car feels difficult to drive with too much steering.
- Even with the softest center spring the car has a lot of steering, which is good, but you really need to run heavy shock oil to keep the shock from feeling 'bouncy'. With the kit 350cst the piston will just blow through the oil, which makes the car feel a little weird. I ran 50wt AE and will likely go heavier.
- Put 1mm shims between the aluminum shock mount and the carbon piece the shock actually attaches to. This will help place the shock in a straight line along the chassis.
- Use 2.5mm shims on the crossbrace standoffs if you want to run the springs on top of the links.
